A new B2C site - from idea to launch in just one week

COVID-19 posed major challenges for all sectors – but also opened up opportunities. Our client Brakes wanted to change its entire business model within a few days with our support. With the sudden closure of bars and restaurants, the UK’s largest food wholesaler initially supported supermarkets’ efforts to bring food into shops and then came up with the idea of setting up a B2C website to deliver goods directly to consumers and KPS went into action. After 5 days, Brakes was able to take phone orders for collection, and within 9 days customers could order online from the new web shop in SAP Commerce Cloud and collect their purchase from local distribution centres with the click of a mouse.

Successful loyalty programme My Globus

With 40,000 employees and €8 billion in sales, Globus Holding is an extremely successful family-owned retail company. Sigrun Löffelholz, Head of Marketing at Globus SB Warenhaus, worked with KPS to implement important milestones in the further development of the ‘Mein Globus’ customer loyalty programme. With SAP Marketing, campaign management was tailored to specific target groups, and customers receive customised coupons and offers, regionally adapted newsletters, and local promotions. Hundreds of thousands of recipients are addressed each week.

Globus SB Warenhaus

SAP as the foundation for a fully integrated customer interaction platform

Bernd Grande, IT manager at Globus SB Warenhaus, oversaw the implementation of the retailer’s customer interaction platform. 600,000 customers of the Globus loyalty programme “Mein Globus”, 11 million transaction records and 60,000 voucher records were successfully migrated. All loyalty information is available in SAP CRM LOY and SAP Marketing. The SAP Customer Data Cloud manages customer profiles and data protection-compliant consents. The data warehouse solution transfers receipt data and totals to SAP CRM LOY and replicates them in all peripheral systems.

Leading discounter in Switzerland implements SAP S/4HANA

With sales of over 3.5 billion and more than 800 locations, Denner AG is Switzerland’s leading food discounter and a member of the Migros Group. Denner has set itself the goal of digitising and standardising all business processes in merchandise and store management, finance and controlling, transport management, master data and promotion management with SAP S/4HANA. Denner is consistently relying on its collaboration with KPS, which already provides a large part of the necessary SAP end-to-end processes in the form required for retail with its ‘KPS Instant Platform/grocery’.
